Review of E M P Honeymoon
Have you ever imagined an opposite case of a honeymoon? Read this book, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer, a fictional novel of two newlyweds in Honduras, Central America.
Kelly and Tom Turbulo, who had just gotten married, travelled to Honduras for their honeymoon. While touring alone, Kelly comes across a shop called The Pigsty. She discovers a secret lab inside the shop on her quest to purchase gift items. While trying to understand the environment, Kelly gets chased by strange people. She informs her brother, Mike McBride, of her findings during the chase. The story unfolds as investigations unravel what Kelly saw at The Pigsty. McBride, a US Senator, sent his security team, led by Cynthia, to Honduras for further investigations. The store Kelly saw served as a base for the enemies’ missile attacks on North America. The CIA, Space Force, and McBride’s security team come together to map a rescue plan to save the country. Will the object explode before they discover it? Find out in this cybercrime book.
E M P Honeymoon is a 277-page action-filled book. The book contained 16 chapters, each with titles that gave an idea of what to expect. From the beginning to the end, the characters were involved in running, spying, filming, plotting, and reporting events. The villain, from a faraway country, had the upper hand until Kelly and Tom got involved. Due to their involvement in the investigation of the terrorists, the married couple could not enjoy their honeymoon.
I enjoyed reading E M P Honeymoon. The book had a romantic start that glued me to reading without dropping it. The author used familiar science terms, which helped me get a free reading flow. I learnt about the electromagnetic pulse mentioned in the book. The book was straightforward and not lengthy. The book was professionally well-edited, as I encountered few errors while reading.
The reading tool I used assisted me in noting down errors as the book was unnumbered. However, the author didn’t have to leave some pages empty. It took spaces that, if removed, would have shortened the book’s pages. Nevertheless, I should give the novel a well-deserved rating. Therefore, I rate this book four out of four stars because of its proper editing and engagement.
I recommend this book to lovers of action and science fiction books. The book is suitable for all readers, young and old.
