Kelly and Tom had just gotten married. As expected, their honeymoon was by the beach. They explored places during the day, and cuddled at night. Nobody planned to discover a terrorist hideout. That discovery was a mistake, but they could not unsee what they saw. These bad guys were planning on blasting an electromagnetic pulse wave over the United States. This would cripple the economy, kill millions of people, including babies, and render the United States defenseless to a certain degree. The couple could not let that happen. It was up to them to put an end to the game that the terrorists were playing. They had to save America if they wanted a home to go back to.

I have read many of Dorothy May Mercer's books. I discovered that a recurring theme in her books is terrorism and the fight against that devil. E M P Honeymoon is no different from those books. Even though its central theme is similar to the theme of her other books, the plot was different, unique, and interesting. I liked everything that I saw in it and did not see any negative features.

What I liked the most were the parts of the novel that showed me the sacrifice some of our cops make to save lives. Tom was a cop and willing to die for his country. He was ready to give his life if it meant saving millions of people. His resolve to do right by his nation inspired my new sense of patriotism. I loved both him and his actions so much.

Dorothy May Mercer edited E M P Honeymoon in a perfect and exceptional manner. There were no errors in the book. I did not dislike anything. My words have done nothing but praise this book from the beginning of the review. Now I must rate it. Since I have nothing but praises to sing about E M P Honeymoon, I award it a rating of four out of four stars.

E M P Honeymoon is the kind of book that anybody that is looking for a reason to have hope in America, the president, the cops, and the military should read. It talks about the fight against terrorism and the strategies employed to try to defeat this devil. It may not be the real deal, but it will inspire hope and faith in our country again. Thus, I recommend E M P Honeymoon to you if you want to have faith in America again.
