Review of E M P Honeymoon
Tom was a cop who lived to save lives and arrest criminals. He was not trained to go after hard-core terrorists. That was the job of the army or a special squad. He did not have the firepower or the backup to launch a full attack on these terrorists. However, he could not say that because he lacked the tools and the special training, he would not try his best to save North America from the attacks of a crazy terrorist organization group. He, his wife, and a few others had to operate undercover. They had to sneak around to gather the information that could be used. They understood that one wrong move could lead to the death of one or all of the members of their small team. That was scary, but they had no choice. Can one man and his small team save North America from the clutches of a terrorist army made up of thousands of men and an electromagnetic pulse shooter?
It will be very wrong of me to say that I disliked anything about E M P Honeymoon because I did not. Saying that will make me eligible to win the award for the worst liar of the year. So if you asked me if this book had any negative features or aspects, I would say no.
With that said, what I liked the most about E M P Honeymoon is what I will talk about next. I loved the dedication and patriotism that Tom showed. Not everybody is willing to risk their lives for their neighbor or their country. I am not saying that I cannot do that, but I will take a step back to consider the risks. That consideration can take days or years. The result may be me choosing myself over others. Tom's undiluted patriotism for his country is something people should pray to have.
E M P Honeymoon is a book that should be read by people who want to see what true patriotism and selflessness are. Dorothy May Mercer wrote a book that affected me so profoundly. It is filled with action and adventure from the first paragraph to the last. I like how the book opens up. It felt so eerie and seemed like something out of a horror movie. But do not fret. It is not a horror-themed novel.
This novel was edited exceptionally well by Dorothy May Mercer, which endeared it even more to my shaky heart. On the note of everything mentioned so far, I believe the rating of 4 out of 4 stars is well deserved.
E M P Honeymoon is a novel I recommend to terrorist-fiction lovers. It is packed with so much action on both Tom's and the terrorist organization's end. I can not imagine any person who likes such books disliking them.
