Could this be a hoax call once more? When the phone rang, and Senator McBride couldn't identify the caller, all he could think of was this suspicion. He soon realized that the line was exclusive to his family.

While on honeymoon with her husband, Sgt. Tom, Kelly McBride discovers a terrorist camp while shopping. Being so patriotic and afraid, Kelly called her brother to tell him what she had seen. Unlike other major terrorist attacks, this group planned to use an electromagnetic pulse attack to achieve their devious and criminal action against the U.S. She was able to get away after she was caught spying around, giving her time to reach her brother. After recognizing her voice, Senator McBride alerted her husband, Sgt. Tom. Senator McBride alerted the CIA and told them about this clandestine activity that had been going on for a while. Will they be able to stop this attack? If so, how do they plan on achieving that?

E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a work of fiction that blends well with the happenings of society. This book is a crime thriller that has a bit of romance attached.

I was interested in Dorothy's work after reading "Cynthia and Dan." Just like I expected, she didn't disappoint in this book. The first event in the book was enough to pique my interest. The thing I like about Dorothy's work the most is her constant emphasis on teamwork. Every character in this book was well developed and well thought out. I must commend the introduction of Steve's character. It brought a lot of humor to this book. The twists and turns kept me up all night. This masterpiece is worth the hype I heard before I decided to read it.

I couldn't find anything to say that went wrong while reading this book. Though I saw some errors, they were so tiny that I decided to award this book a 4 out of 4 star rating. Dorothy did her best to simplify the book so that even a layperson would read and understand everything she meant to communicate. From what I saw, the most important theme of this book is the need to be patriotic. Dorothy wrote the book from a third-person perspective, which helped me understand the book as I had hoped.

I can boldly beat my chest and recommend this book to people who love crime thrillers that talk about terrorism. I'm sure they will enjoy the book as much as I did.
