Review of E M P Honeymoon
Senator Mike McBride gets a call from Kelly, her younger sister, who is in Honduras with her husband, Tom Turbulo, for their honeymoon. Kelly sounds panicked and out of breath. In Honduras, she has discovered a terrorist base. Kelly was attacked by the terrorists, but she was able to escape with her life. Mike tries to contact his CIA contact but is unsuccessful in getting any helpful information. The head of security for Senator McBride, Cynthia Patterson, assigns members of her team to go to Honduras and protect Kelly and Tom. Why are these terrorists based in Honduras? What is their motive? Will Kelly and Tom be successful in putting an end to this terrorist organisation so they may return to the US, or will the terrorist group members catch them? Read E-M-P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer to learn more about Kelly and Tom's adventure.
The information provided in the plot was one of my favourite aspects of this book. The reader learns about politics, electromagnetic pulse weapons, and natural occurrences like solar flares through this book. This book was beautifully written, and the story flowed smoothly from chapter to chapter. Each character was well-described and distinctive in their own way. Steve was my favourite character. He was smart and hilarious. This story is full of twists and turns, and it's difficult to set it down unfinished. Even novice readers will have no trouble understanding this book's straightforward language used by the author. Kelly isn't shown to be very brave, but she still makes every effort to assist and plays a vital role in the effort to stop the terrorists, which I thought was a lovely addition. Everything was accurately described, from the view of the beach to the outer space, which was sufficient to take me there and make me enjoy the beauty of nature.
There is nothing about this book that I didn’t like. Every single chapter was interesting to read, filled with suspense and twists. I am happy with how the story ended and could not have asked for a better ending.
I can tell that this book is professionally edited as I could only find a minor error. I do not have a single reason to deduct any stars, so I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
This book does contain some profanity, but I don’t think it would offend someone. I would recommend this book to people who like reading science fiction filled with mysteries and twists.
