Review: 11th Hour by James Patterson

Post by mountaingirl8 »

11th Hour by James Patterson is another spell-binding murder mystery. It's also one of the books in the Women's Murder Club series. It follows the story of pregnant Lindsay Boxer as she and her partner on the SFPD try to solve two cases at once.

One unsolved murder case involves seven severed heads found in the garden of millionaire and actor Harry Chandler's compound. The other case involves a dirty cop who is killing drug dealers all over the streets of San Francisco.

Lindsay and her partner, Rich Conklin, need to find out who these killers are, and fast. Plus, they need to reign in the reporter who is publishing lies about Lindsay, her husband, and the cases they are working on. When he posts a picture of Lindsay's husband in the tabloids, her life becomes even more chaotic than it already is. Not only does Lindsay have to protect the reputation of the force, but now she has to protect her marriage; and the life of her unborn baby.

11th Hour is one of the most thrilling murder mysteries to date; and the most emotional book that James Patterson has written so far. The book will capture your attention by page one, and you won't be able to put it down until you see the mystery unfold before your very eyes.

I have to give 11th Hour 5 stars; I loved the storyline, and the characters. I also loved the action that didn't stop from the moment I opened the book until the moment I closed the back cover. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat; so hold on and enjoy the ride!
