Raoul Martez, a sweet and capable young man, just started his job at Triangle Waste Management. The job is supposed to be simple. It was not supposed to involve corpses. Henry Leon Boucher wanted a change in his life. He started a new career as a CIA agent. His first mission lead him to this new thriving waste company. What was supposed to be a simple murder case developed into something deeper.

To begin, I'd like to say this first book was attractive. It's written with a different character's perspective, which was new to me. It's rather entertaining to read about each scene and to see how oblivious the main character is. These scenes were also well-paced, and each alternate perspective didn't cross each other. Next, the dialogues were clear, and the informations never ceased to amaze me. The events surrounding the murder, the gangs and the conspiracies were accurate. Those illustrations were told in a refined and simple tone. Also, reading Murder in the Garbage was a comfortable journey. The characters were realistic, and the author showed the flaws a society may have within its walls. The involvement of many individuals had surprised me. I thought the story would only be about Hank. Though their team work was awesome to witness.

Honestly speaking, there was no notable negative aspect. The alternate point of view may be confusing at times, but nothing big to worry about. The way the characters solved the case was also realistic, and they handled things level-headedly. It was handsomely written. The content of Murder in the Garbage was not heavy, no bloodshed, nor any disturbing content. There was nothing that needed a change, meaning the author, Jerry A. Greenberg, did a great job.

This book really deserves a 4 out of 4 stars rating because it has a classic spy plot, without anything too heavy for the public and with pleasant main characters. I really can't wait for the continuation, the ending surprised me, and I want to know the development of the team's relationship.

I gladly recommend Murder in the Garbage to the general audience because the style is not complicated, anyone can understand it. Also, the scenes were simple, and the characters were lovely. I'll specifically recommend it to anyone who seeks a new series to follow. It has a great potential and promised a thrilling continuation.
