Review of E M P Honeymoon
After searching for hours and days for the ideal location for their honeymoon, Kelly decided on Honduras, a Caribbean island with one of the best beaches, a dive center, a menu full of delectable foods, and even a private cottage on the beach. Tom was enjoying himself at the beach when they arrived at their Honduran resort, so Kelly decided to ride the excursion bus across the island to check out some shops and the neighborhood shops. She stumbled onto a Pigsty gift shop while on her little excursion when she got lost. She went inside the store to see if she could find something nice for her mother-in-law, niece, and nephew. Instead, she found a cutting-edge lab that was allegedly run by a terrorist organization. She was attacked by an unidentified man while still reeling from what she had just learned, but luckily she managed to escape his grasp and retreat to her villa. Kelly and her husband Tom work together with CIA agent Steve Spalding and other agents to battle terrorism and avert a potential catastrophe in the book EMP Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer. What led to the involvement of the CIA agent? What sort of plans did the terrorists have? What benefit did Kelly's discovery provide for them? Upon reading this book, you will learn more.
As I read this novel, I became aware of Kelly and Tom's unwavering love and concern for one another. One instance had Kelly calling Tom when she was having problems, and Tom was unduly concerned about his wife, despite the fact that she was initially concealing what she was going through. Additionally, he was constantly prepared to defend her from harm. Even though they were on their honeymoon, the couples were always willing to pitch in and lend a hand to the agents.
What I enjoyed about this book was how the spouses, the CIA agent, and other operatives all worked together to reach a similar objective. I also appreciated how fast they responded to Steve's call for assistance following his accident on Route 55 that injured one of his legs. Another thing I love about them all is how they all shared the knowledge they had obtained in order to complete their goals.
Throughout my reading of this book, I didn't find anything to dislike. Reading it was interesting and enjoyable for me since I could visualize how some of the scenes might be. I discovered a mistake while reading, which confirms that the book was professionally edited. Therefore, I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in reading books about terrorism, advanced technology, or a little romance, as they will find it to be captivating to read since it has a blend of all three.
