Kelly was terrified. She did not know what to do with the knowledge she had just mistakenly obtained. Terrorists were currently planning to attack the whole of North America, and she was sure that no ordinary person was supposed to be privy to that information. It turned out that while Kelly was no friend of the terrorists, she was also no ordinary person. She was the sister of a respected senator and the wife of a patriotic cop. Of course, she had to tell them what she involuntarily found out. Together, they must devise a plan to save North America from the terrorists. They knew sacrifices would have to be made and were willing to give whatever they had to protect their people. What they did not know from the get-go was just how much sacrifice they would have to make because of the kind of terrorist organization they were up against.

This novel is called E M P Honeymoon. The author’s name is Dorothy May Mercer. E M P Honeymoon has many positive aspects. In fact, every aspect of this book is positive, and I am glad to say that. I will only mention a few positive things because I do not want this review to be lengthy. The first positive thing about this book is that it tells a daring tale of heroes versus villains. There were a lot of characters who believed that they were the heroes in the story and all others were bad guys. Yes, this includes the supposed bad guys. They, too, thought themselves to be heroes who were fighting for a worthy cause. How did I know this? Because Dorothy May Mercer occasionally gave us a clear peek into their minds. I read their thoughts and got to understand their driving force. As you might have guessed, the supposed good guys also believed themselves to be heroes. It was intriguing to see things from both parties’ perspectives.

I also liked that the author stuck to the theme that I have come to associate with her. I am talking about terrorism. Through her books, I have learned a great deal about terrorists in our world and their activities, whether past, present, or future. E M P Honeymoon taught me a lot about what terrorists can do (and are probably already doing) to best and beat the good people of the world. It also showed me what the response to terrorism from those at the White House probably looks like. These eye-opening lessons are my most treasured and liked things in the book.

Dorothy May Mercer’s editing of E M P Honeymoon was perfect. I am saying there were no errors in it, and it was edited exceptionally. There are also no negative aspects in E M P Honeymoon. Because it was impossible to dislike anything about the book, I have decided to rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

E M P Honeymoon should be read by readers who are fans of Dorothy May Mercer’s books. Fans of majorly terrorist-themed novels will eat up this book and ask for more. Thus, I recommend it to the people mentioned above with my whole heart.
