This book had me hooked from the beginning. It dealt with a dark hidden story that entwined arson and a secluded religious island. There were mysteries from a child's past that only the estranged parents could answer. The quest for the answers led to death and destruction with only small clues being discovered along the way. It pulled you in and you couldn't leave the island or the town without answers. The author did a great job of Intwining a bit of romance and religious mystery
