Review of Murder in the Garbage
Murder in the Garbage by Jerry A. Greenberg is a murder mystery with lots of tension, thrills, and action. The story opens with Raoul Martez, a retired military officer who is looking for a day job to support himself while pursuing a degree at a night college. Meanwhile, one of his friends recommended that he work as a garbage collector with Trinity Waste Management. Although he was hesitant to apply for the job because it would damage his self-respect, he eventually overcame his reservations and did so, landing the position.
When Raoul learned that his CEO, Charles Thornton, had been found dead in a trash can, the seemingly straightforward job of garbage collector turned out to be full of action and suspense. Another key figure in the narrative, Hank Boucher, who was assigned to look into the smuggling of missiles out of Lackland Airbase, is then involved in the murder of the CEO. How do all of these crimes of theft and murder relate to one another? And how is it possible for a garbage collector like Raoul Martez to be crucial to the investigation? Do read the above-mentioned book to find more excitement and adventure.
This book, which was packed with tension, thrills, action, and wonderful characters, definitely captured my attention. This narrative featured several characters, and I like how the author took the time to develop each one and was able to present each character's perspective in each chapter. The initial story started slowly, but it gradually picked up the pace and was packed with intriguing ideas. As further evidence that this novel is jam-packed with murder mysteries, it also frequently references governmental investigative agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Absolutely nothing in this book disappointed me. From the very beginning to the very end, the tale was great and kept me guessing. In my opinion, the author did a great job of making sure that readers would never get bored while reading this book.
The situations were well thought out, and the author created a flawless work of crime fiction. As the author makes the reader come back for his next novel, I also intend to read this book's sequels. Aside from that, the lack of grammatical faults I encountered in this book makes me think it was professionally edited. I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, taking into account everything mentioned above.
I would like to recommend this book to any adult who enjoys action-packed, suspenseful murder mysteries with fantastic characters that will keep you turning the pages. Additionally, readers should be aware that the book contains some bloody deeds and profanity.
