Hope is the head of Diamond Security in Hollywood. Diamond Security protects high-profile, high-risk clients. Her cousin's husband (Leonard), who works at Moons of Saturn (MOS), which works on military projects, got a security threat because he printed out some whistleblower forms, and his wife ran to her dear cousin for help. As the couple was invited to an event MOS was holding on a ship, Diamond Security decided to go with them because their attackers might also be on the ship. At the same time, her boyfriend, Matt, whom she plans to break up with, was sent to the same ship as he is an FBI agent. Will they be solving the same case? Who is trying to kill Leonard? Find this out when you read Diamond on the High Seas by Karen Gilleland.

Some qualities of this book made me love it. First, I love how the cast of this story was listed ahead of time. This removes the stress of trying to figure out who was who in the story. If you get confused with any character, just find your way to the beginning of the book, and you will be cleared.

I love the gradual progression of the story. The author sure is a talented writer in this genre. Care was taken to build the characters. It's funny how one of the characters, Lisa, keeps asking her husband, Gilbert Melrose, for approval for almost all her statements. It made me suspicious that something was off between the two. For instance, "Gilbert and I don't go clubbing, do we dear? That's for the young. I heard Mr. Diaz' wife ran off with his best friend. Isn't that what we heard, Gil?" (page 76) That is how all their conversations go.

I love the element of suspense and how the surprise package was delivered on time. With so many characters on the suspect list, it was difficult to determine who the spy was. When you think you have figured out who the spy is, another surprise will knock the character off the list!

I disliked nothing about this book, Diamond on the High Seas, by Karen Gilleland. Because of that, I am rating it 5 out of 5 stars. The pacing was perfect, the plot was well-built, and the characters were well-developed. In addition, the author made her characters mysterious, which made the story more interesting. In this story, we learn about the threats and dangers that whistleblowers face.

I would say that Diamond on the High Seas by Karen Gilleland was professionally edited, as I encountered only a few errors in it. I believe one more round of editing will get rid of the errors. I guess the author must really like banana nut bread. I do appreciate the recipe that was given. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy crime mysteries and investigative stories.

At first, I was very confused on what the plot is, It was very unclear and when I did realize, this is certified to be a one of the most significant book of mysteries to begin with. Confusions may come but the exciting part would arise

I think this book is interesting to read because after i read the plot i remember the famous movie Rush Hour where the scene is on the ship. The two FBI agent is on board and their target. And their target is the father of the FBI agent.

This sounds like a crime thriller with a romance from a reunion. That's a great theme I'd like to read about. How did the story unfold? Great review.
