It took me a long time to come up with the right words to characterize Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom, since it is such an action-packed novel. For those who are unfamiliar with the term "EMP," it stands for an electromagnetic pulse. It is essentially an enormous quantity of energy that might be turned into a nuclear bomb. Large power systems might be destroyed with this energy, harming civilizations that rely on electricity in the process.

Imagine finding something this large on your honeymoon. A newlywed couple named Kelly and Tom are vacationing in Honduras, a nation in Central America, on their honeymoon. On a day when they decided to separate and spend time engaging in their hobbies, Kelly wandered into what seemed to be a typical shop and stumbled onto something she wasn't supposed to see. Several males then start to run after her. She calls Senator Mike McBride, her elder brother, in a panic for assistance.

The plot then picks up as Kelly and her husband, a well-equipped police officer, attempt to identify these mysterious guys and learn what their plans are. Several characters, including Kelly, Mike McBride, an attractive guy who works for the CIA, and even the mystery's perpetrator, known only as DL, are featured from different points of view throughout the novel.

Even though I love action movies, I sometimes have trouble finding engrossing novels. I decided to attempt this book since it kept drawing my attention. It ended up being a very fun book to read! Character growth, transitions, and location description are all masterfully done by the author. I enjoyed reading about the story from several points of view. I got lost in the writing because it is so excellent. I felt as if I were witnessing a movie.

I can't think of anything bad to say about this book. It slows down in the middle of the book, which some readers could find to be a drawback. After considering everything, I give this book a score of 5 out of 5. This is because of its expert editing, complex narrative, and fantastic character descriptions. I will recommend this book to my friends because of how well this author writes. I'm eager to learn what May Mercer's future holds!

I suggest this book to those who are young adults and older and have a fundamental knowledge of science and politics. It's such an intriguing read. It was exceptionally well edited. I saw no error while reading.
