Hey everyone,

I've been reading a lot of crime fiction lately, and one of the things I've noticed is the use of multiple narrators. This technique can add depth and complexity to a story, and I wanted to start a discussion about it.

When done well, multiple narrators can provide insight into different characters' perspectives, motives and emotions, which can make the story more engaging and unpredictable. It also allows the author to create tension by withholding information from the reader and revealing it gradually through different narrators.

Some examples of books that use multiple narrators effectively are Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl" and Tana French's "The Trespasser".

On the other hand, when not executed well, multiple narrators can be confusing and take away from the story.

What are your thoughts on multiple narrators in crime fiction? Are there any books that use this technique that you particularly enjoyed or found frustrating? Let's discuss!
