Who doesn't love the hormone induced sex-craved lives of high school?

Well, in "Hello Darkness" by Sandra Brown, we are introduced to the "Sex Club." And that is exactly what it is, a group of high school students that set up an online blog to solicit sex. It ranges from cars, to outside public areas, and down to shanty hotel rooms. During one of these meetings, we find that Janey Kemp has gone missing. And Janey Kemp is not an ordinary student by means of social status, as she is the daughter of a well renowned judge.

The book is centered around a deadline for investigators to find Janey before her possessive "boyfriend", Valentino, kills her. Along the way, we run into a corrupt police department, a sexual deviant dentist, a radio talk show host whom is more than meets the eye, and two radio station workers who are not what they claim to be.

This book is full of manipulation, corruption, and a touch of erotica. I feel this novel was written fantastically and would give it 4/5 stars. I do not give it a complete five as I feel that some areas were underdeveloped; or, the character's story could have gone a different way.

Through the many twists and turns, it came as a surprise when we find out who "Valentino" actually is. If you are looking for an erotic thriller (Not so much as 50 shades of Gray), I highly recommend this book.
