Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
Kelly was having a typical day. She wanted to make the most of her time with her new husband on their honeymoon. She was not planning on crossing paths with terrorists who were planning on bringing America to its knees. Imagine her surprise when she discovered they planned to shoot an EMP America's way and obliterate it. She had to do something to stop it, but she couldn't do it alone. So she enlisted the help of her husband and a couple of security operatives, who would lay down their lives to save their nation if they had to. Do you think this group of heroes can stop these terrorists before they do too much damage? Do you think they will be successful in their quest? Would you like to find out for yourself? Then read E M P Honeymoon.
Dorothy May Mercer is a distinguished author who has made waves with her books for many years. I have read many of her works and will always enjoy her stories. So you can imagine that I had high hopes for this book even before I started reading it. Fortunately, she did not disappoint me and delivered on her promise to give me a page-turning thriller that would keep me on my feet. E M P Honeymoon is a book I enjoyed reading and could never get enough of. Its storyline was beautiful. It was properly developed, something I do not see in many novels. There were also humorous events that got me laughing. It is one of the best books I have ever read about terrorism and the heroes who attempt to fight it.
Let me talk about what I liked most in E M P Honeymoon. I liked how the villain of the story was presented to us. I did not expect him to be the way the author described him. He was everything that I never thought about. That was good because it showed me that I do not have the power to guess the outcome of every event and character in this book. That brings me to another thing I like about this book. It was totally unpredictable. I will take a book that keeps me on my feet any day over one that is so easy to predict the end before I even go halfway into it.
As for dislikes, I am happy that I could not dislike anything about it. This means I cannot say anything negative about the book. It was well-written and exceptionally edited. Seeing it has no flaws, I have decided to give a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
You will not regret reading E M P Honeymoon if you like novels about villains who try to destroy the USA. It is a book about terrorism and the heroes who do all they can to fight it. I recommend it to readers who are interested in such storylines. I also recommend it to readers who like a bit of romance in their thriller novels about good versus evil.
