I often ponder the state of our faith in the absence of individuals who have the courage to face the danger of terrorism head-on. Jack Winnick's novel, The Date Farm, explores this theme through the story of Lara and Uri, a couple who dedicate their lives to serving their country.

The novel opens with a devastating terrorist attack on a shopping mall, followed shortly by another at the Federal Reserve and Chase Manhattan Bank in New York. The US government is forced to employ the legendary operatives Lara Edmond and Uri Levin after this attack compromises crucial military communications and government satellites. The couple's tranquil vacation in Ohio is suddenly interrupted as they must answer the call of duty. The reader is left to wonder: What do these terrorists hope to achieve? Will Lara and Uri be able to triumph in their mission? Get your hands on this book to uncover the answers.

The author's writing style had me thoroughly captivated from beginning to end. The seamless blending of fiction and fact is truly remarkable, with a fast-paced plot that never dulls or loses momentum. Every character serves a purpose and contributes to the story, including secondary characters who play crucial roles rather than simply serving as filler. The two main characters, Uri and Lara, embody patriotism and selflessness, always ready to serve their countries with courage and bravery. The world would be a better place with more individuals like them, who would help reduce corruption.

This book truly embodies the energy of an action movie, with well-choreographed action scenes and intricate details that come together to create a thrilling experience. The ability to craft a unique storyline is a feat in itself, but the author's delivery of the plot is truly exceptional. The choice of words paints a vivid picture of the action and draws the reader into the story.

This book is a must-read for fans of intense, pulse-pounding thrillers. It is not for the faint of heart, as the story is filled with action-packed scenes and intense violence. However, for those who crave this type of edge-of-your-seat excitement, The Date Farm will not disappoint. The editing is impeccable, with no grammatical errors in sight, making for a seamless reading experience. There was absolutely nothing about this book that I disliked. I'm so impressed by the storyline and the author's delivery. This book truly deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

Terrorism has been writing by many authors in the past but none like this one. From your review I'm convinced this one was properly written. It contained as you mentioned thriller and mystery.

I just hate terrorism and thats just it. I believe that people who are used for these attacks are not enlightened or are promised a better life after death.

Your comment about the secondary characters being more than just filler is really interesting to me. I think it's always impressive when an author is able to create a large cast of characters who all feel unique and important to the story. It sounds like The Date Farm is no exception in that regard.
