Review of Black Hat/White Hat

Lara and Alex, not their real names, uncovered a plot against Papa Paul and his family and were able to stop it. Their fascination of a lifetime comes true when Papa Paul accepts their proposal and hires them to work in his new enterprise. On their first day at the enterprise, they extract information from Edward and shove a cellphone into his butt. This, along with other acts, will become their signature, driving the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other agencies around the world on a wild chase to unravel their identities and catch them.
Black Hat/White Hat was written by Glenn Della-Monica. The book falls in the genre of mystery and crime. It is a fast, funny, and really satisfying story about a young couple that goes after scammers and criminals who would not easily be apprehended by law enforcement agencies due to a lack of sufficient evidence or their enjoyment of certain privileges. To others, this serves as a form of entertainment, and they place bets on whether the couple will be caught.
This is a story that will keep you captivated, entertained, mentally occupied, and asking numerous questions. It weaves events from the real world and adds an element that will definitely leave the reader wondering what the same thing would mean in the actual world. While the lines are blurry, not necessarily black and white, I loved the fact that Lara and Alex set boundaries and worked within them, making them respectable and admirable.
Black Hat/White Hat is gripping from the first to the concluding page. Glenn employs numerous devices in his narration, which make reading this book a fascinating experience. Also, the narration is flawless, and the author knows where to use vivid descriptions. One of the aspects of the book that makes it interesting is the brilliant development of the characters, especially Lara and Alex. Their ability to outwit security agencies and the fact that they had such a solid worldview are outstanding and provide food for thought.
Apart from the minor errors I encountered while reading, the other aspects of the book were exceptional. Owing to the errors, I rate Black Hat/White Hat four out of five stars. Another round of editing will certainly earn it a perfect rating. Every ardent fan of action-packed tales will enjoy poring over this book. It's not just about catching and punishing the bad guys; it's also about how they do it, which will keep you turning the pages.
