Morrow's Con by Elizabeth Guizzetti is a fantastic science fiction novel that deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. From the first page, the story immerses the reader in a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger, intrigue, and deception.

The protagonist, Nori, is a con artist who uses her skills to survive in a harsh world where resources are scarce. When she loses her partner, Trix, during a heist, Nori must take on a new identity and impersonate a scientist, Dr. Morrow. The book follows Nori's journey as she navigates her way to a scientific conference on a remote island, encountering danger, unexpected allies, and complex twists and turns along the way.

The world-building in Morrow's Con is excellent, with the author creating a vivid and believable post-apocalyptic world. The descriptions of the technology and advancements that have come about as a result of the apocalypse are both intriguing and captivating. The world feels fully-realized, and the reader is immediately drawn into the story.

The characters in the book are also well-developed, with Nori being a particularly fascinating protagonist. Her backstory and motivations are slowly revealed throughout the book, adding depth and complexity to her character. The supporting characters are also well-rounded, with their own unique personalities and backstories that add to the richness of the story.

One of the book's strengths is the intricate and unpredictable plot, which is full of twists and turns that keep the reader engaged and guessing until the very end. The pacing is well-done, with the tension building steadily until the climax. The author knows when to slow down and when to speed things up, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat throughout.

Overall, Morrow's Con is an excellent science fiction novel that expertly combines elements of post-apocalyptic fiction, heist stories, and espionage thrillers. The world-building, characters, plot, and pacing are all well-done, and the book is a must-read for fans of the genre. I highly recommend this book and believe it deserves a 5 out of 5 rating.
