Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators--Green Ghost

This is probably my favorite Three Investigators so far. In this adventure, two strangers come walking down the street and bring the boy's attention to an old, abandoned mansion. Two of the three investigators, along with a small group of other people the strangers have managed to pique the interest of, are standing outside of the mansion when they hear a scream. The group decides to investigate, and when they do, they actually see a glowing green figure within. They attempt to chase the green figure throughout the house, but are unsuccessful as the thing appears to hover, instead of walk, and pass through, instead of open, doors.

The Three Investigators travel from the mansion to a grape vineyard, and then to Chinatown, where they hear the story of some very valuable and unbelievably powerful 'ghost pearls', which just might be guarded by the mysterious 'green ghost'.
