The novel Endgame by William Reed is a crime thriller focusing on the operations of extremist groups inside the Israeli and Palestinian organizations that struggle throughout the world. The author of the book provides readers with information about the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The book also includes a glimpse of the frightening tactics used throughout the fight as well as a brief history lesson.

The book started with suicide bombings, with the primary suspects being Al-Qaeda, who happen to be suspected of murders. All of the attempts and tries to put the problem at bay, or at least calm the situation, were futile and just made matters worse. Nathaniel Jameson, the deputy head of mission at the American embassy in London, had the plan to defeat Al-Qaida. The deputy thought the best strategy was to infiltrate the organization like the Trojan Horse and use the president as bait. He thought this was their best option if they wanted to put an end to terrorism.

The plot of this book was very exciting and thrilling, and it will leave you clutching your fingers and toes. It took us to see some of the struggles some people go through in the land of war and terrorist attacks, and it also showed us a little bit of history; the author took us back in time a little bit, and I must say it was a nice history lesson. Also, he didn't write the book in a difficult-to-read style. Although it had a historical chronology, the writer did a great job of making it easy to read even though several books with similar historical events and timelines are difficult to read. Reading, looking up a word's definition on the Internet, or using a dictionary wasn't necessary. The book has a lot to say and educate about. The characters in the book are accurately depicted, which made the book even more intriguing. The book was adequately detailed and exceptionally well written; there were no grammatical errors. I, for one, learned certain things I didn't know I was supposed to read in the book, like the beginning of Al-Qaeda. My impression is that his writing style was beautiful and ideal.

To be quite honest, I couldn't find anything to dislike about the book.

I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars for the reasons I stated earlier; I loved everything the book had to offer me. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys history and the Trojan Horse tale.
