Review of The Date Farm
The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is a good option if you enjoy reading suspenseful, action-packed novels. The stories of FBI agent Lara Edmond and Mossad agent Uri Levin continue in this book, which is a continuation of Winnick's earlier works. The author describes the critical work done by agents for the FBI, Homeland Security, and CIA to halt the spread of terrorist attacks with the twists and turns of a classic action novel. To learn more about what happened in this book, get a copy.
The Lara and Uri series always opens with tense, hostile sequences. This time, hundreds of people were murdered and injured in a terrorist attack on a shopping center. The incident horrified the people and stunned the nation. While on vacation at Lara's family house, Uri was having a fantastic time with his new wife. When he learned about the terrorist assault that spoiled his vacation, he was just getting to know his new family. Lara is now a Mossad and FBI auxiliary agent. The outcome of the country now rests on this couple's capacity to look into and stop additional attacks.
I was completely engrossed from start to finish by the author's writing style. With a fast-moving plot that never drags or loses steam, the seamless melding of fiction and reality is simply astonishing. Every character has a purpose and contributes to the plot, including the supporting cast, who fulfill important roles rather than just being fluff. The two main characters, Uri and Lara, epitomize patriotism and selflessness, constantly preparing to defend their nations with bravery and valor. More people like them, who would aid in reducing corruption, would make the world a better place.
There was nothing about this book that I didn't appreciate. Each character had a strong development. The bravery and selflessness of Lara and Uri moved me. The world needs heroes like them right now. This work is free of typographical or grammatical errors, to my knowledge. This book was exceptionally well edited. I have to give the author and editor credit for a job well done.
I rate this book five out of five stars. It raises awareness of the strategies terror gangs employ to plan their assaults. Thus, it was instructive. I recommend this book to adults who enjoy suspense and terrorism-related stories.
