Review of E M P Honeymoon
You run the danger of your honeymoon being unpredictable when you are married to a police officer and your brother is a senator. That's what happened to Kelly, who was having a wonderful honeymoon with her husband, Tom, in Honduras when she stumbled onto something that might fundamentally alter the course of both the United States and the rest of the globe. She will have to discover this hidden danger with the help of a colorful and diverse group of pals. Will they be able to end global warming?
The wide variety of characters in Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon is my favorite feature. There is a colorful cast of characters, including a brainwashed North Korean spy, badass female security experts, and a Casanova CIA agent, to name a few, that not only make the plot flow smoothly and without a single boring moment, but also each one offers an enlightening perspective into the conflict.
The author did a good job of portraying the characters. For instance, Dr. Kinny was witty, intelligent, and extremely sarcastic. This mixture struck me as being particularly good. How frequently does one person have these qualities? My interest in his theories was maintained by his sense of humor. There was enough suspense in the book. As I started the book, I wondered who was after Kelly and what exactly Kelly had done to draw danger. I appreciated how vivid the novel was and how the author managed to blend different places together. Before I saw her in Kelly's hotel, I was unsure of Colonel Rhee's function. I loved that I found myself wondering what would happen next at certain times throughout the novel. I also like the inclusion of pictures in the book.
A few aspects of this book, such as the teaser, are unappealing to me, but not enough to deduct a rating. The teaser didn't truly make me feel teased about the book; thus, I think it shouldn't have been there. The prelude was more teaseful, in my opinion. It seems a little excessive to permit a covert police officer to get breast implants just to help her fit in with the covert assignment she's starting. The novel was very well-edited, and I detected no flaws while reading it, despite the fact that it felt like she had to modify herself for a goal. It is a really fantastic novel, so I gave it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend anybody who appreciates a fast-paced, joyful adventure and anyone who finds joy in unique, colorful characters to read Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon. This book will appeal to readers who are interested in technology, conflict, terrorism, and espionage. This book, which is obviously written from an American point of view, won't satisfy readers who have strong national beliefs or who want to learn more about the complex issues surrounding the terrorism problem.
