Author Jerry A. Greenberg’s book Murder in the Garbage is a crime thriller book which revolves around the murder of a rich man. The novel is regarding the murder of a man but there is more to it, there is a dangerous plot going on behind the murder. In my opinion, there are two main characters in the story: Hank Boucher (a CIA agent) and Raoul Martez (A retired military man looking for work). Raoul Martez joins a new company as a garbage collector. Hank Boucher retires from the Navy to get new experiences. He decided to get a job at the CIA and contacted them for an interview. He was trained and provided a case relating to stealing weapons from an Airbase as an undercover agent.

The plot revolves around the murder of the boss of the company in which Raoul Martez was working and he is the person along with his co-worker who finds the dead body outside the house in which the boss was residing. This murder was related to the case in which Hank Boucher was working as an undercover CIA agent. What is the relation of the murder with the stealing of weapons? Who murdered the boss of Raoul Martez? Will Hank Boucher will be able to catch the culprit and how Raoul Martez would be involved in the case? There are a lot of questions and to find out the answers you need to read the book.

What I liked the most about this book is the twists and turns and the mystery involved. Another thing which is liked is that author has given the name of the person as the title of each chapter which depicts that the story would be narrated from the point of view of that person mentioned in the title. I liked the plot as even though there was a murder but mystery was not about who committed the murder as it was clear who was the culprit but the mystery was about the reason behind the murder.

I couldn’t find anything too negative to mention about this book. Every plot in the book was very interesting and it kept me from getting bored and kept me on the edge of the seat.

I couldn’t find many grammatical or spelling mistakes so I can say that this volume was professionally edited. I would give this novel 5 out of 5 stars due to the interesting plot. This novel is a blend of crime and mystery. It will appeal most to fans who like crime, mystery and action stories.
