E M P Honeymoon, written by Dorothy May Mercer, is a fast-paced action novel about a CIA agent, a police officer, and three civilians who all find themselves trying to stop a group of highly trained terrorists.

Senator Mike McBride received a phone call from his youngest sister, Kelly. She's panicked and scared. Mike is confused because she and her new husband, Tom, are on their honeymoon in Honduras. He immediately gets the head of his security team, Cynthia, to find out what is happening.

While looking for souvenirs, Kelly stumbled across a terrorist group planning to attack North America. Cynthia sends two members of her security team to Honduras to make sure everyone is okay. The four of them investigate the terrorist group and, in the process, meet up with Steve, a CIA agent watching the terrorist group. The five of them team up to work against the terrorists. They need to find out what the terrorists are planning and what they need to do to stop it.

E M P Honeymoon is a well-written novel. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is fast-moving. I liked how each character was able to benefit the team in unique ways. There are also viewpoints from the perspective of the terrorists. It was interesting to see the different sides of the story and different characters' thoughts on what was happening. This book easily passes the Bechdel test.

At one point in the story, a character translates a message from Korean to English. The character types out the English letters, then changes each individual letter to Korean. From there, he matches the words in the message to the letters he has typed out and translates the message. This would not work. While some English letters have a unique Korean character (e.g., g, n, d, r), other characters are a combination of English letters (e.g., yeo, wae, ng). Because of this, it would not be possible to translate from Korean to English as described in the book.

I rate Dorothy May Mercer's novel, E M P Honeymoon, 5 out of 5 stars. I found this book enjoyable. Furthermore, I found very few errors, and I did not notice any major issues.

I recommend this book to anyone wanting a quick read. It is a good action book with some romance sprinkled throughout. I think this book is suitable for teenagers and older. This book contains profanity, minor sexual references, descriptions of torture, and terrorism.
