I've never been one to read Thriller books, but 'Blindsighted' has completely changed my view on the genre. From the first page you are drawn into the characters and immediately have questions you need answering, making this book one that you won't want to stop reading. The forensic and police work chapters are very well written and done in a way where you don't question whether the author knows what they're talking about, but instead wonder whether they have had a past in this field.
Some parts of this book are hard to read and very detailed, but instead of making you want to put the book down and stop it's written in a way that makes you want to read on and find out what will happen. It's 1 in a series of 3 of the 'Grant County' series, I still have to read the last 2 and will post reviews once read.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a gritty thriller and aren't afraid of blood.
