Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
E M P Honeymoon is a book about the things true American patriots will do to protect their country from harm. Tom and Kelly knew they owed a duty to the US to defend her wherever and whenever the need arose. That was why they did not hesitate to jump into action when they discovered that a group was planning to attack the US in an unconventional way. At first, they did not know how that attack would be launched. So they did what any normal person would do. They investigated. Well, maybe not everyone will be able to do what they did, but they understood that they could not afford to sit by and let the terrorist group slap the US around. Thankfully, these two did not work alone. A few people joined them, and together they must fight to prevent the destruction looming over the US.
Dorothy May Mercer seems like someone who knows the ins and outs of the White House. She seems like someone who has an idea of how the security forces conduct their business. If she did not, then how was she able to tell the story in this book about the actions men and women in charge of securing the US took? How was she able to describe the things that happened in the White House in this story? How was she able to make them seem so real? If everything I read results from imagination and nothing more, then our beloved author’s imagination is top-tier. I really liked how she wrote about the altercation in the enemy’s camp and the way our protagonists went about their mission.
The description of every event is what I liked most about E M P Honeymoon. Every person and event in the story came alive in my head. I could literally see Tom, Kelly, and their teammates in action in my head. That was because Dorothy May Mercer did not hoard words when she was writing this story. She generously described every person and everything they did. I could not get enough of that.
There was nothing to dislike. The story was well-written, and every plot fell into place one after the other beautifully. I also had no problem with the editing. It was edited exceptionally well. E M P Honeymoon surpassed my expectations, and I greatly loved reading it.
Because of how good this novel is, I have decided to give it the grand rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It had no negative aspects. If you read this book, you will see why I said that. The major reason why I gave this book that rating above is that I did not dislike any part of it and finished it with a hunger for more. I know that because of how much I enjoyed reading this book, I will go out there and search for more of Dorothy May Mercer’s books. I recommend it to people that are interested in books that show the battle for control over the US by terrorist organizations or groups.
