Review of E M P Honeymoon
This wonderful book, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer, is an epic romantic crime thriller novel. Being a part of the amazing McBride series, this book will entertain you to the very end. The book, consisting of 252 pages in 16 chapters, is also a science fiction novel. Kelly, who happens to be Senator McBride's younger sister, is married to Tom Turbulo, who is also a cop. Her husband, Mr. Tom, works for the Carson City Police Department. After their marriage, they took off for Honduras in Central America for their honeymoon. What will happen next?
On their honeymoon, Kelly happens to uncover a suspicious undercover computer lab belonging to an unknown terrorist group. She gets caught in the process. Tom gets involved and decides to investigate this group of terrorists, which leads to a shocking plan being exposed. A plan bent on destroying the United States. This plan was called the Electromagnetic Pulse Explosion. We can only pray this doesn't work out as planned. Many lives will be lost in the process.
I really enjoyed this book. I almost screamed like a kid when my favorite characters, Cynthia and Sky, surfaced. Dorothy May Mercer made this book very interesting for me to read. The characters here are well-developed, and I enjoyed it. This book kept me in suspense throughout, as I wasn't able to predict the next event that would occur at any point in time. The author also did a good job of giving the book a sound and proper organizing process. The book has headings despite having chapters too. On the one hand, Tom and Kelly's putting their nation's safety first and sacrificing their honeymoon was a good sign of good patriotism. It's worth emulating. The author really did well in making this book very comprehensive. The plot, writing style, and storyline were top-notch too.
Honestly, I have nothing to dislike about this wonderful read. I couldn't hide my excitement when Cynthia and Sky surfaced in this book. They got involved in tracking down these terrorists and bringing tranquility back to their motherland. I enjoyed everything in this book.
Gladly, I'll like to give this book 5 out of 5 stars, and I have no doubt whatsoever. It was without errors, and I enjoyed the writing style of the author. The book was well edited, according to all indications. This book is richly nourishing. You'll definitely gain more knowledge and entertainment if you read it.
Lastly, I would also recommend this book to lovers of intense action, science fiction, and thrillers.
