Review of Final Notice
Final Notice is a science fiction book by Van Fleisher. This book tells about elderly citizens who kill people with firearms as a result of either harassment they received or the fact that they possess a tech watch that has the ability to predict their death within weeks. A program titled the NRA Armed Senior Discount Program provided elderly citizens with a 20% discount on firearms purchases so that they could curtail the harassment they received from other citizens.
As time progressed, there was news of unexplained deaths of citizens, one of which happened in a home in Arizona, leaving six dead. It turned out that the shooters who killed these citizens were elderly citizens. Vince and his wife, Trudi, looked up these issues on the internet. They happened to see the news about the unexplained killings. They also checked up on the NRA Armed Senior Discount Program. The couple made their evaluation of the consequences of this program and the elderly citizens use of these firearms. The couple believes it will do more harm than good based on the statistics they discovered on the internet. Read this book to find out the outcome of events.
I like many things about this book. I like the author's idea and how he executed the writing. I adore the author's writing skills. The characters in the book were well developed. I like the interaction of the couple when trying to evaluate the impending situation. The plot of the book is intriguing. The narrative is so engrossing that I wanted to know what would happen next. Most tech-based books make unrealistic stories that oftentimes seem like caricatures, which sound so unpleasant to experienced readers, but not this one. The story sounded so realistic. I commend the author for the idea; it's indeed a remarkable proof of versatility in that area. I must say, this is an amazing piece of artwork.
I dislike nothing about this book. I read this book with utter keenness. I didn't even know when I finished it, yet I didn't feel bothered by any aspect of this book. Despite how keenly I read this book, I didn't notice any errors while reading it, which shows it was exceptionally well edited. I commend the author's style of writing.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for the reasons I mentioned above. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy books on science fiction. I also recommend this book to fans of technology-based books.
