The book "EMP Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer is a thrilling 16-chapter novel that tells the story of Kelly and Tom, a newlywed couple whose honeymoon in Honduras is interrupted by their discovery of a secret covert mission against the United States. After Kelly reports the event to her brother, a Senator, and the investigation launches, they learn that the Koreans are trying to overthrow the United States. Kelly's brother, Steve, is an agent at the CIA and was assigned to Honduras to spy on any unusual activity. Kelly and Tom (with the help of some friends) join forces to end Korean operations. The author does a fantastic job developing the characters and their areas of expertise. The book is factual, with detailed maps and the use of military terms to create a great plot. The author's use of military expressions is impressive, and the book is exceptionally well-edited with no errors.

I gave a 5 out of 5-star rating to the audiobook EMP Honeymoon. Despite being an audiobook, the plot was easy to follow, with well-developed characters. The story revolves around four figures; the main couple on their honeymoon, a mad dictator, a military team aiming to conduct a catastrophic project, and the US government trying to figure everything out. All the groups are well-developed, and the story moves smoothly between them. There is a brief lull in the middle of the story, around chapter 9, but the book is captivating overall. Other than that, there was nothing else I would change; it is close to perfection. The book is suitable for everyone, with no offensive language or violence and only allusions to sex.

The book introduces readers to some fascinating concepts, such as the potential consequences of a solar flare. It is an excellent choice for science fiction, action, and crime novel fans. The book has some complex military terms and abbreviations that may not be suitable for young readers. The book has minimal profanity.
