Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
In Dorothy May Mercer’s science fiction thriller EMP Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom, the newlyweds take a honeymoon to Honduras, but it quickly turns into a mission to keep Korean terrorists from terrorizing their country by releasing an electromagnetic pulse. The book is action-packed and well-written, with a carefully crafted plot that keeps readers engaged from start to finish.
The way the author created fully realized characters and wrote in a way that made the story come alive impressed me. Through her thorough explanations of the highly complex matters, the author gave me a clear comprehension of the scientific concepts and terminology that were used in the book. This saved me the time and effort of having to look up words in the dictionary. I also love the fact that the book has no errors because I was able to have a good time reading the book.
I think the book’s pacing is good, with a mix of humor and suspense that is just right. The dialogues are honest, and the characters are well-developed, making it easy for me to connect with them. The book also includes details of the denouement, providing a comprehensive understanding of what happens at the end of the book. Furthermore, the author has included translations from foreign languages used in the novel to make it stand out from the rest.
The book garnered a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars due to its ability to hold my attention from start to finish. It is exceptionally well-edited, with no grammatical errors, making it an easy and enjoyable read.
