The fictional work E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a pleasant and delightful story that centers on the two main characters, Kelly McBride and Tom Turbulo. The wedded pair is currently enjoying their honeymoon in Honduras, where they are exploring the island's stunning scenery. One day, Kelly makes the decision to join some other visitors on a bus tour of the island while her husband indulges in a scuba diving excursion. She comes upon a cute small gift shop called The Pigsty while out sightseeing, and this immediately piques her interest. Kelly walks into the store, intending to buy toy pigs and something nice for her family.

Unknown to Kelly, the store she thought she was entering for a simple task is actually the headquarters of a potent terrorist group. Kelly finds the shopkeeper nowhere to be seen when she chooses the products she wants to buy. She makes the decision to enter the store's backroom in search of an employee because her curiosity has been sparked. To her amazement, she discovers a sinister scheme to destroy North America. Kelly comes face-to-face with an intimidating man who might have easily killed her while she was spying. Fortunately, she makes it out and finds her way back to the hotel, but not before she grasps the seriousness of the circumstance. She suddenly realizes that the group she just met might be a significant danger to the safety and security of the entire nation. Kelly is aware that she needs to act right away in order to inform the authorities and stop the terrorists' planned devastating consequences. Time is of the essence, and she must use all of her skills to thwart them before it's too late.

Kelly, who is in extreme agony and is unable to speak clearly, reaches out to her brother, Senator McBride. Despite this, Mike decides to act because he knows that if he doesn't, the local authorities might overlook the incident. Agatha and Sharon are tasked with protecting Kelly from harm and learning the truth about what's actually happening in Honduras. Steve Spalding, a clandestine CIA operative, quietly joins their squad after being present the entire time. Five people work together to conduct a thorough investigation, gather data to present to their superiors, and keep them updated. Su-Jin is the leader of an undercover terrorist group that is active in Honduras. Su-jin pretends to be a tourist, but her real objective is to activate a nuclear weapon. The crew is acutely aware of the seriousness of the situation and works relentlessly to learn the truth while guarding themselves against Su-jin's organization. They are committed to upholding justice and working tirelessly to avert any potential harm.

In her novel, Dorothy May Mercer demonstrates extraordinary expertise by deftly fusing parts of a scientist's talk show with a spy story. Her skill as a writer is evident in the smart use of EMP in the title. The talk-show interview, which gives the narrative an additional dimension of mystery, is one of my personal pleasures of the book. Solar flares, like the Carrington flare, are examples of scientific events that serve as engrossing illustrations in this intriguing book. The book also offers insightful information on EMPs (Electro Magnetic Pulses) and their possibly disastrous effects on particular areas of the earth. In conclusion, Dorothy May Mercer's novel stands out as a superb illustration of deft storytelling that skillfully blends science and espionage in an interesting manner.

I found no faults while reading the book, and I thought it was exceptionally well edited. I couldn't think of anything I didn't enjoy about the book. Because of these factors, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Although I greatly enjoyed the book. I felt that the ending was a little hurried. Having said that, I think readers who like cute romances with surprising plot turns will find this novel to be a joy to read. This book is a wonderful gem for people who enjoy a good novel because it combines interesting characters with a cleverly constructed plot.
