Terrorism is a significant issue in the contemporary world due to the immense damage and suffering it inflicts. Nevertheless, this pair did not allow themselves to be intimidated despite the risks and bravely confronted the terrorists. E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer narrates the tale of this couple and their unexpected meeting with these terrorists.

The fast-paced story follows the honeymoon adventures of newlyweds Tom Turbulo and Kelly McBride in Honduras. While exploring the area alone, Kelly stumbles upon a gift shop called "Pigsty" on a backstreet. Intrigued by the beautiful trinkets in the shop's windows, she buys some items for her family. However, upon entering the shop, Kelly senses something amiss—the absence of employees and an eerie silence. Curiosity leads her to investigate further, only to discover six armed men inside. She realizes this shop is not an ordinary souvenir store but a high-tech computer-based laboratory used by foreign-trained terrorists planning to destroy North America. Tom Turbulo joins the investigation, and the question arises: Can Team USA foil the terrorists' plans without harm? Will these revelations implicate any government? To find out, read this captivating masterpiece.

I was captivated by the author's ability to weave a compelling plot quickly. From start to finish, I thoroughly enjoyed every page of the book, eagerly turning to the next. Dorothy's vivid descriptions of the potential consequences of a nuclear weapon had me on the edge of my seat. The author's writing skills are commendable, and I not only relished the book but also gained valuable insights, particularly regarding the significance of selflessness in my interactions with others. My favorites among the cast of characters were Cynthia and Sky, two recurring figures in Dorothy's stories. The author skillfully developed the characters, making them feel more authentic and realistic.

However, certain parts of the story progressed slower, possibly explaining why the ending felt somewhat rushed. Additionally, I felt that the level of training attributed to Colonel Rhee, as depicted in the story, did not match her performance during the mission. It seemed too easy for Steve Spalding to suspect something was awry with her. I found all this unpleasant.

Furthermore, I did not come across any grammatical or typographical errors while reading the book, so it was exceptionally well edited, in my opinion. Therefore, I give E M P Honeymoon 5 out of 5 stars despite its flaws. This remarkable book offers plenty of action and humor; I recommend it to lovers of good action books.
