Review of E M P Honeymoon
Kelly and Tom are newly married and on their honeymoon. Kelly, the younger sister of Senator Michael McBride found her dream honeymoon resort in Honduras, Caribbean Island. Their lives were happy and peaceful until the day Kelly went on a tour bus around the island and local venues while her husband was enjoying a dive boat. While looking around for the perfect place to buy some gifts for her loved ones, her eyes stopped in a shop that had toy pigs named La Pocilga—the Pigsty. She stepped in and started selecting gifts. After some time, she noticed that there was no one inside the shop except her, not even the shopkeeper or an assistant. She went inside the shop, calling and looking for someone, where she ended up discovering a suspicious place, which does not suit the title of the shop or the place it is situated. This discovery put her and her partner’s lives in danger. What is this suspicious place? Will Kelly and Tom be able to solve the problem? Who is involved in this?
EMP Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a fascinating piece of fiction that has a total package of excitement, humor, and romance. This is one of the books in the McBride series, but it is a stand-alone one, and you don’t need to read the other connected books to understand the story.
There are some features I liked in this book. The structure of the book is neat, and the language is very clear. I like the way the author has started the book, which gives the reader a curious feel from the first couple of lines. The book is edited professionally, and I couldn’t find any errors. There were some technical explanations that provided some additional knowledge.
There is nothing I disliked in this book. The overall story is very interesting, and I’m really impressed by the way the story was built up. It also gives a message that a person should act like a responsible citizen rather than living only to fulfill their own happiness.
My rating for this book will be 5 out of 5 stars. The book contains suspense, humor, and some action. The book is structured in a professional way, and I really enjoyed reading it.
I recommend this book to both male and female readers of all ages who are interested in reading about action, combat against terrorism, and stories filled with suspense.
