Review of E M P Honeymoon
E-M-P HONEYMOON :A newlywed couple is on their honeymoon in Honduras at the beginning of the honeymoon. An off-duty New Mixco police officer and his wife's vacation quickly devolves into the unintentional discovery of a terrorist attack against the United States during what starts out as an ordinary trip. Just a handful of the intriguing characters in this thriller include these two lovers. Included in the group are, among others, a CIA agent who serves as comic relief and two civilian female security personnel. The electricity grid that sustains North America and Canada, as well as a large number of individuals in densely populated cities, is targeted by an unnamed foreign power in a complex scheme. The recently created American Space Force, the American contingent in Honduras, and other government sectors work together to attempt to stop the attack.
The book is a thrilling action thriller that captivated me in every scene. I'd like to point out that this book may be read separately in the McBride series. Many actions were detailed that were taken to stop the terrorist attack on Northern America. I was fascinated by the enormous sacrifice this new couple made. Few people can afford to skip their honeymoon in order to protect the security of the country. Kelly was good at decoding computers, while Tom Turbulo was a city policeman. Their professions and skills greatly aided the operation. This duo is the most compatible couple I've ever read about, in my view. Each chapter of this book ended on a cliffhanger, making it difficult for any reader to set it aside.
I liked how the novel included scientific aspects such as solar flares, superflares, the Carrington Flare, man-made E.M.P.s, coronal mass ejections, planetary orbits, and more. It improved the book's "smartness" and reading experience. The story's introduction of the new American Space Force was also fantastic.
I don't dislike this book in any way. The characters were portrayed by the author in a way that was reminiscent of the people we come into contact with on a daily basis. The teamwork in the book was fantastic. The way the couple and their friends banded together to defend the country from oncoming disasters impressed me. It is admirable that the author has such a creative talent. I'll also congratulate the editor because the book is flawlessly proofread and edited.
E-M-P Honeymoon receives a rating of 5 out of 5 stars from me. It's a short book with engaging characters. The author, Dorothy May Mercer, worked incredibly hard to create this story. Up until the very last word, it will keep you intrigued.
I promptly recommend lovers of international thrillers, romance, suspense, and—most importantly—action read this novel. This book is especially appealing to those who enjoy one of the aforementioned subgenres.
