Review of E M P Honeymoon
In the McBride series, Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom is a gripping science fiction book. It follows newlyweds Kelly and Tom Turbulo as they spend their honeymoon at a serene island resort. Kelly unintentionally discovers a dangerous terrorist organization, which causes their plans to change drastically. She calls her brother, Senator Mike McBride, for assistance after realizing the danger is impending. Assistant Director Joseph helps them find a nefarious plan to launch an electromagnetic pulse attack on North America. The characters set out on an exciting investigation to counter the terrorists' plan, determined to avert this disaster. Readers are lured into the storyline as it develops, which combines romance, investigation, and high-stakes action. Will the onslaught be stopped by them?
This book is my ultimate favorite! It's remarkable how well it combines the science fiction, romance, and action genres. I was completely engrossed in the compelling storyline from the first page, which was full of suspense and surprising turns. I found myself glued to the pages of each chapter, anxious to find out what would happen next.
