The Serial Killer Whisperer was a very intense story about a young man's interaction with some of the "World's Most Terrifying Killers". He had a severe head trauma in his youth and on the other side of recovery he realized that he might have some understanding about these killers, not because he had a desire to murder, but because of the disconnect with people that he was experiencing. There are excerpts from letters written to the Serial Killer Whisperer, so some of the language is explicit. It was a very interesting perspective on some of the worst criminals behind bars.

Welcome to onlinebookclub!

When I saw your post title, I thought I must have read this book. But from your description, I didn't. The one I read must have been called The Psychopath Whisperer or something. It was about a social scientist who spends his career studying psychopaths. Scary stuff.
