Review of E M P Honeymoon
What do you do if you learn that your nation is being attacked? In this book by Dorothy May Mercer, Kelly finds a covert plot against her country, turning a honeymoon into an inquiry.
Kelly finds a store that is being used as a front for a clandestine operation while she is in Honduras on her honeymoon. She then reported the incident to Senator McBride. The Koreans carried out this operation in retaliation against America. Steve was a CIA spy working undercover as a tourist in Honduras to serve as the agency's eyes and ears. They eventually learned that the Koreans intended to target America with a nuclear weapon after making several discoveries. Kelly and Tom must now save America with the assistance of certain friends. To explore a world of crime and adventure, read EMP Honeymoon.
The book has sixteen chapters and 277 pages. For easy navigation, it features a table of contents in link format. It has aspects of adventure, crime, and action. By emphasizing specific people and locations, the work became more factual. The author did an excellent job of using military jargon. I believe the author made references to actual events in this novel. It discusses the struggle for dominance among nations and their use of nuclear weapons to do so.
The plot of the book is undeniably interesting. It was instructive as well. It defined an electromagnetic pulse and described the potential consequences of a solar flare. For his bravery in undermining the Korean operation, Jung Lo is my favorite character in the novel. His moral character is admirable since he took the risk even though he knew it was the proper thing to do. It was amazing to witness how Team USA worked together to defeat a common foe.
There is no denying that the book's plot is compelling. Additionally, it was instructional. It explained what an electromagnetic pulse is as well as the possible effects of a solar flare. My favorite character in the book is Jung Lo, who displayed courage in sabotaging the Korean operation. He demonstrated excellent moral integrity by taking the risk even though he knew it was the right thing to do. It was incredible to see how Team USA cooperated to defeat a common adversary. No issues arose while I read this book. Being a fan of spy and action thrillers, I loved reading it. It was amusing to observe Dear Leader enthused about his strategy while completely oblivious to the fact that it was overruled. Even though the author eventually provided additional facts regarding the book's finish, it had a pleasant but abrupt ending. I suggest reading "Cynthia and Dan," a prequel to this book by the same author, even if it isn't essential. It serves to introduce some of the book's characters to readers. As I found no errors, the book's editing was particularly strong. I give the book a score of 5 out of 5 star rate.
I suggest this book to fans of adventure, crime, and action. It would interest readers who enjoy spy fiction. There are a few instances of swearing in the book.
