E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a captivating novel that takes readers on an exciting journey with newlywed couples on Honduras Island. The discovery of a high-tech laboratory in a gift shop called La Pocilga sets the stage for an intriguing plot. The characters, such as Steve and Sky, are well-developed and relatable, adding depth to the story. The narrative showcases the coordination between the CIA, Senator Mike McBride's secret agent, Cynthia, and her personal security team. One of the impressive aspects of the book is the meticulous building of characters and the skillful portrayal of emotions in each chapter. Jo's jealousy towards Senator Mike McBride and Kelly's ambitious nature are explored, with their strength and dedication shining through their responsibilities. The novel also incorporates educational information on terrorism, space coordination, and special forces combating terrorist attacks.

E M P Honeymoon is an international crime thriller with positive elements of romance and action. The author's descriptive writing brings the talented characters, particularly Steve, a CIA agent with a unique approach to women, to life. The romantic relationship between Steve and Sharon adds an additional layer of excitement, while the author's attention to detail in describing the rockets carrying the EMP device is commendable.

While the novel is exceptionally well-edited and largely error-free, there are a couple of minor flaws worth mentioning. The fact that the newlyweds were on separate missions during their honeymoon seemed perplexing, and the swift transitions between scenes could be slightly jarring. However, these issues do not significantly impact the overall reading experience.

With its easy-to-follow twists and turns, E M P Honeymoon offers an engaging read. The book covers important themes such as terrorism, space coordination, and special forces' efforts against terrorist attacks. Considering the absence of major problems, it is only fair to give this remarkable book a rating of five out of five stars.

Overall, E M P Honeymoon is a well-crafted and captivating novel that will appeal to both science fiction enthusiasts and general readers alike.
