Review of E M P Honeymoon
E M P Honeymoon, another suspense novel by Dorothy May Mercer, features Kelly and Tom. Its locations include Honduras and Washington, D.C. It demonstrates how technologically sophisticated the U.S. military has become.
Tom and Kelly are taking their first honeymoon. While Tom is away on a cruise, Kelly finds a terrorist base on the Honduran island where they are on their honeymoon. Their entire getaway becomes an inquiry as a result of this one deed. While Kelly and Tom are looking into this current mystery, Cynthia sends two of her top intelligence agents to assist on this job. They finally meet Steve, a disguised CIA agent. Were they able to halt these terrorist strikes? To find out how things work out, pick up this book.
Given that Kelly and Tom prioritized their efforts on securing North America over the fun they were having on the island, I was in awe of their fortitude and passion for their motherland. In addition, if Kelly hadn't told the senator and her husband, Tom, about her find, the matter wouldn't have been treated seriously. Therefore, I salute Kelly's boldness. Yes, I found it intriguing. Furthermore, I took away from this tale the lesson that teamwork is superior to independent effort for completing tasks and producing good results. This is because they would each manage the work using their individual strengths. All the hired detectives in the story were given distinct responsibilities based on their individual talents, which made figuring out the reality of the situation a lot simpler. I was enthralled by the description of the Caribbean island because I love the outdoors. Tom and Kelly must have made the decision to travel there in order to escape their troubles and the demands of daily life.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Even though I feel like the book design is off-balance. The chosen hues don't seem to go well together. Some of the texts, including the author's name at the bottom, can be difficult to read at times. This issue, however, is not powerful enough to convince me to take a star off the rating. Other than this, I couldn't think of anything that would turn me off this book. I must also commend the editing of the book; it looks professionally done.
For those who enjoy sci-fi books, I recommend this one. Additionally, it will appeal to those who enjoy action and adventure.
