My wife and I are totally hooked on the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt. The series is about a lawyer who has inherited $22 million dollars from his father, has a small law practice and only takes a case when forced into it. His secretary comes to work about 10:00 am and does crossword puzzles all day. Andy is a huge dog enthusiast, as is Mr. Rosenfelt, and most of his books revolve around canines. The cast of characters are halarious and cause us many laugh out loud moments while listening to the audiobooks. The paper books are excellent however the audiobooks, to me, add so much more to involve the reader due to the narrator Grover Gardner. He fits into the Andy character like a glove and allows one to visualize the situations. Mr. Gardner is Andy through and through. The books are a really fun read if you want to laugh at the wit with which the series is written Without the vulgar language that so many authors think necessary to get the point across.
Try the first book and you'll be hooked as we were.
