Diamond J&G Manor Parlay Gambling House by Sylvie L. Gionet details the lives of two sisters, Ami Wen, alias Sing, and Kana Wen, who are separated by their choices in life. Sing worked at a clothing store and loved nightlife and clubbing with her friends Lexy and Ruby, whereas her sister Kana worked for a private company as an IT technician. Sing, through her friends, landed a job as a cocktail server at an amazing manor in Japan. Sing defies her sister's red flag about working at Tresdaten Manor and proceeds to take the job.

Kana relocates to Irvine, California, where she trains as a secret agent. On the other hand, Sing's life completely changes once she gets the job; her relationship with her friends is brought to a halt; she gets a promotion to work in an unfamiliar area; and her name is changed to Ginger. Events start to unfold when Sing falls in love with a wealthy man, Jimmy Baiten. Their relationship grows in spite of the rules of the manor forbidding any relationship between wealthy guests and a server. Sing becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son. Will Sing raise and protect the child from her boss? The story is packed with more events to uncover; just grab a copy of this book and read to uncover them.

I loved the sisterhood love between Kana and Sing and how they cared for themselves in spite of the personality differences between them. Kana knew Sing loved pancakes and would make enough for her, while Sing would say uplifting words to Kana after learning of her health issues. I also liked how Sylvie L. Gionet made this story engaging and how the plot was progressing. The story is gripping and suspenseful due to its twists and turns. I was thrilled by the theme of love in the book. There was love at first sight between Lucas and Carla; Jase and Desiree were lovers; and Sage and Paul Wales were lovers. Altruistic love was also there when Lucas joined the unknown world so as to save his family.

There was a development of genuine relationships and friendships among characters that was admirable. I loved the relationship Kana created with his nephew, Lucas, and his daughter, Sage. They trusted her, and she had an easy time training them and willingly helping her family learn and grow in many areas of life. I found myself falling in love with the business of designing because of how well the author detailed and described how Sage, Desiree, and others were making money by designing Diamond J&G Manor.

There were no flaws or errors I found in the book to talk about. The writing style was simple, great, and easy to understand. Aside from that, it was exceptionally edited. Therefore, I have no good reason to deduct a star from the book other than to rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to those who love fictional books filled with suspense, avid readers of investigative stories, and anyone looking for a thought-provoking story encompassed by thriller, mystery, and romance.
