In this story, we meet Jono and Silke. Their relationship was an unusual blend of love and hate, care and hurt, so toxic that they both found solace in their own secluded world. What initially seemed like a promising connection quickly turned dark as a series of unfortunate events unfolded. Silke, an ordinary medical student with an unremarkable life, unexpectedly caught the attention of Jono, her complete opposite. Jono, hailing from a wealthy background with famous parents, was a popular and charismatic individual who could easily have any woman he desired. So why did he choose Silke? Was their relationship doomed from the start? The situation took a drastic turn when Silke mysteriously disappeared, and Jono was the last person to have seen her. Would she be found alive, or had she finally walked away from their troubled relationship? The fate of the vulnerable young woman hung in the balance.

The story's suspense kept me enthralled throughout, and I loved that. Both Silke and Jono harbored secrets from their pasts, making the plot even more intriguing. There was an abundance of potential suspects in Silke's disappearance, leaving me unable to single out the true guilty party. I questioned whether she had simply walked away from her troubled life or if there were deeper layers to her disappearance. From her family and boyfriend to her assailant and friends, numerous individuals seemed capable of being the malicious perpetrator. The final reveal and the events leading up to Silke's disappearance caught me off guard, surprising me with their complexity and unexpected twists. It was a satisfying conclusion that shed light on the intricate puzzle of the story.

One drawback I noticed in the book was the significant number of grammatical errors present, which made me question whether it had undergone thorough editing.

In conclusion, I would rate the book 4 out of 5 stars. I was enthralled by the well-crafted characters and the author's ability to bring them to life. Each character played a unique role in the narrative, seamlessly intertwining their stories. The book held my attention as I eagerly sought the truth behind the murders and the real nature of Jono and Silke's relationship. However, I deducted one star due to the noticeable grammatical errors throughout the book. I believe professional editing would greatly benefit its overall quality.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ghosted by Louise Byrne to mystery enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy a blend of romance and elements of the supernatural.

I always seem to have trouble ferreting out the guilty party. I try and try, but, inevitably, I miss some important clue. I’ll bet Silke would have been glad that I’m not on her case.

I have nothing much to say about the book because the review says it all. I like the way the book was reviewed; it drives the audience to the story already. Good feedback and a great check review. Nice job.

I felt like the reviewer was speaking to me directly irrespective of the fact that he used the word "those" in his recommendation. A blend of romance and the supernatural seems like perfection to me. I'm worried for Silke though, I wonder what happened to her. Adding this to my shelf pronto.

The relationship between Jono and Silke seems unhealthy but her disappearance opens up a can of worms with a number of people being suspected of foul play for a suspenseful thriller. Thank you for your great review!
