EMP Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a captivating story about Kelly and Tom, who were on their honeymoon in Honduras. Things took a different turn, and their honeymoon was cut short. They had to deal with a life-threatening situation that endangered them and their entire country.

While enjoying their honeymoon, Tom joins a dive boat to explore coral reefs while Kelly takes a tour of the neighborhood. She walks into a gift shop, hoping to get gifts for her nephew. On getting there, she felt something was off. Out of curiosity, she went in further and found that the gift shop was an undercover operation for a terrorist operation. She found six armed men inside who went after her, but she managed to escape. She quickly called her brother, Senator McBride, who sent out aides to protect her and stop a possible terrorist attack. Will they be successful?

I recently read one of Dorothy Mercer's books, and I must commend her writing skills; it is easy to comprehend and follow up. I loved how she developed all her characters in this book. It was top-notch. She did an amazing job making the roles of each character relatable. Also, this book has an interesting storyline and an intriguing plot. It is filled with action, adventure, and romance. The book is written from a third-person perspective.

I couldn't find anything to dislike in this book. It is full of suspense and unexpected plot twists, keeping the readers engrossed till the very last page. There were also lessons to be learned. Tom and Kelly were determined to save their country instead of enjoying their honeymoon. That was a brave and selfless act, which drove home a lesson.

I enjoyed reading this book. The storytelling was captivating and never boring to read; therefore, I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I did not come across any grammatical or typographical errors while reading the book, so it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy suspense, thrillers, and action books.
