Wack City, authored by Miko Montgomery, presents a captivating and thrilling narrative. It follows the journey of a female Hollywood director who embarks on a trip to Las Vegas with hopes of striking good fortune. During her visit, she encounters a knowledgeable and captivating limo driver, who enthrals her with chilling tales centered around the darker side of the city.

Through these narratives, the story delves into various intriguing scenarios. From the unexpected encounter with disguised drug dealers who find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, to a man who returns home after a prolonged absence to care for his ailing mother but faces overwhelming challenges, and a group of individuals in pursuit of the ultimate sexual experience, only to encounter more than they bargained for. Wack City takes readers on a wild and unforgettable journey.

I found Jill Levy's character arc in the story particularly captivating due to its unexpected twists and turns. She exudes assertiveness and confidence, making it clear that she is not someone to be taken lightly. This becomes evident when she becomes upset over not receiving due recognition for her work. However, the story also explores the drawbacks of having such a strong personality, highlighting the fact that even seemingly perfect individuals have their weaknesses. These vulnerabilities can sometimes lead to their downfall. Jill's narrative effectively captures the essence of Las Vegas, where the belief that "Anything is Possible" prevails. The story incorporates elements of the supernatural, featuring ghosts, frightening monsters, and the occasional friend who unknowingly drags everyone into trouble. Together, these elements create a compelling portrayal of the Vegas atmosphere.

I am completely enthralled by this book, as its captivating narrative and vivid descriptions have me utterly glued to its pages. There is no room for complaints or dislikes when every word engages me so deeply. I highly recommend it to fellow horror fans and those who seek the thrill of exploring the unknown through literature. This book has truly captured my attention and I am confident it will do the same for others who embark on its captivating journey.

I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars for its remarkable ability to plunge readers into thrilling adventures and horrifying tales that captivate from the very first sentence until the final page. The twist at the conclusion left me in awe, my jaw dropped in astonishment. Additionally, the book displayed exceptional editing and was entirely free of errors, enhancing the overall reading experience.
