This is a fine review! I relate so well with your trouble of keeping track of characters as you go and their character list makes that easier. Also, with the protagonist's identity all twisted up now, I see what an interesting mystery and revenge story this would be! I'd like to give this book a go sometime!

The review is comprehensive but I don't like reading horrific and mysterious stories. This book, Lost identity, is well summarised in your review. Good work.

I love this review. Thank you for the candor and up front perspective. I can't fathom Matthias and his horror at waking up to this new reality. I did read this before, but I need to revisit this. Your review confirms it for me. Thanks!

Thank you for the helpful review. I love a good mystery, and although I usually find a book with many characters confusing, this one sounds like an ambitious but enjoyable challenge. I'm putting it on my Want To Read shelf.

This story has a really interesting plot. One that I think would make for a great TV show. A story about a man that lost his memory can only be filled with a lot of twists and suspense.

Great review! I have also read and reviewed this book, as well as the other books in this series. The book is intriguing and interesting with many different characters and sub-plots.

The loss of memory and identity and their recovery have been done before in other thrillers but this theme has never failed to draw in readers or viewers. I have started reading Kim Ekemar's Lost Identity casualties and I endorse this to anybody looking for a fast-paced, intriguing thriller that you can read anywhere, coffee shop waiting for your friends, in the bathroom, on the bed (but I doubt you'll get to sleep), on the bus while stuck in traffic. Ekemar's writing cruises into the narrative that grabs hold of the reader and never lets go. Thumbs up to CataclysmicKnight's review, especially about the heads up that we get to meet a lot of characters with some of their backstories without these cluttering or weighing down the arc of the story.

I enjoyed the review which gave me some idea on what to expect. It certainly sounds like there are quite a number of characters. From another review and the sample I am getting the impression this will be a story of revenge and betrayal. I think I will pass on this one.

This book pulled me initially because the writing seemed good and the story intriguing, but I'm not sure I'm up for that many characters. I much prefer stories that focus on a small ensemble, so I'll probably skip it. I think fans of this genre would love it though! The sample I read was really well-written. Thanks for the review :)

I am wondering how Matthias responds to and lives with finding out not only he has no fingers but has had a face transplant. Having been an attractive man how will he deal with not having those looks anymore? The fact that his father stole his inheritance and he gets involved in some unsavory activities makes things intriguing.
Thank you for your detailed review. I like the idea of a character listing. Many books have some characters, and I think this is a great idea.
