Sometimes, more than often, there is more to life than meets the eye. A film producer named Jill Levy found herself enthralled by the terrifying stories told by a limo driver named Reuben on a trip she had taken to Las Vegas on impulse. Discovering that Reuben is an aspiring writer, Jill sought to take full advantage of him and coaxed him into telling her several captivating and mind-blowing tales surrounding the City of Sin, also known as Las Vegas. He tells six spellbinding stories in total, with them revolving around hideous mannequins that come to life, a mother that hacks her children to pieces after suffering from Dementia, a monster like no other that devours her victims, the appearance of the ghost of a missing child in a traveler’s room, and finally the killing of three unsuspecting men who travel to Vegas in search of pleasure beyond their wildest dreams.

Wack City, written by Miko Montgomery, is an outstanding compilation of stories that captivates you from the beginning until the end. It contains multiple concepts like lust, sex, murder, and gore. There was nothing to dislike about the book, as the author used all the elements needed to captivate his audience. While reading, I often found myself helplessly waiting for the next twist in the tale. Each story had me wanting to sit and finish the novel in one go.

The use of different age groups and scenarios in the book is ingenious. I found myself trying to pick a favorite among the six tales told. The scenes depicted in the novel are very detailed. This can be seen in the way the author describes each character. The end of the story was unexpected and had me wishing that the author had written more.

While reading this intriguing novel, I have not encountered any grammatical or spelling errors. It shows professionalism in the author's writing. I, therefore, rate this novel 5 out of 5 due to the exceptional writing style of the author.

It is imperative to advise readers that the story is not for the faint of heart as it contains detailed murder and gore scenes. This novel is highly recommended to readers who enjoy reading paranormal fantasy.
