Blanket Immunity by Adam Van Susteren is a legal thriller that follows Joanna P. Channing, a criminal defence lawyer who has just opened her own law firm after her failed attempt at running for judge. With ten years of experience as a prosecutor in the DA’s office, she’s got the expertise, but now she needs clients. Her first client is accused of rape. Her second client was arrested for possession of marijuana. Her third client has mysterious ties to the local crime community. As Joanna digs deeper into each case, she uncovers a web of corruption and violence that threatens to destroy her career and her life.

Van Susteren does an excellent job of creating a suspenseful and gripping plot. The book is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. The characters are well-developed and believable, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. One of the things that I really enjoyed about Blanket Immunity is that it explores the ethical dilemmas that criminal defence lawyers face. Joanna is constantly torn between her desire to do what’s right and her need to protect her clients. This conflict is what makes the book so thought-provoking and engaging.

Here are some additional thoughts on the book:

* The book does a good job of portraying the challenges of being a criminal defence lawyer. Joanna is often faced with difficult decisions, and she has to walk a fine line between doing what’s right and protecting her clients.
* The book also explores the issue of Blanket Immunity , which is a legal doctrine that allows the government to grant immunity to witnesses in exchange for their testimony. This is a controversial issue, and Van Susteren does a good job of presenting the different perspectives on this issue.
* The book is full of suspenseful moments, and I found myself turning the pages quickly to find out what would happen next. The ending was satisfying, and I felt like all of the loose ends were tied up.

The editing of Blanket Immunity by Adam Van Susteren is tight and polished. The prose is clear and concise, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. The book is free of grammatical errors and typos, and the pacing is well-managed. Overall, the editing is of a high standard and contributes to the overall quality of the book.
I would give Blanket Immunity a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a well-written and suspenseful legal thriller that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys this genre
