In Dorothy May Mercer's novel "E M P Honeymoon," the story revolves around newlyweds Kelly and Tom Turbulo. The couple is enjoying their honeymoon in Honduras when Kelly's curiosity leads to an unexpected discovery. While on an island, Kelly intends to buy gifts for her nephew, but she stumbles upon a seemingly innocent gift shop that turns out to be a cover for a clandestine operation. As she explores further, she discovers a hidden door that leads to a shady computer lab. Unbeknownst to her, the business is part of a secret mission. In a fortunate turn of events, Kelly manages to escape from her attacker during her initial encounter with the sinister operation. Determined to uncover the truth behind what she witnessed, Kelly and Tom decide to investigate the incident together.

As their investigation progresses, they uncover a plot involving a planned electromagnetic pulse explosion with the intention of destroying the US. Realizing the severity of the situation, they are joined by more American agents and law enforcement officers who are capable of stopping these terrorists.

The tale and chronology of events in "E M P Honeymoon" are both interesting and never dull. The author used third-person narration to narrate the story. A couple of the characters were followed, and the reader is notified anytime the point of view shifts. This made it easy to keep track of the shifts. I also want to commend Tom and Kelly for delaying their honeymoon in order to defend their lovely country. It is admirable that they showed such a great feeling of patriotism toward America.

Overall, I don't have any major reservations about the book. However, I felt the author should have informed us more about the married couple's love relationship. I give the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Because of its positive aspects, it earns a perfect grade. I didn't see why a point should be deducted. This is due to the author's ability to keep the book interesting despite its length. The representation was fantastic, and the tension left me wondering what would happen next. I discovered no mistakes in the book because it was exceptionally edited.

Readers who appreciate spy and crime fiction should read this book, in my opinion. There was also some humor, romance, and action in the plot.
