Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon is a captivating action thriller that revolves around newlyweds Tom Turbulo and Kelly, who embark on a seemingly romantic honeymoon in Honduras. However, their journey takes a dangerous turn when they inadvertently become entangled in a terrorist plot against the United States. The plot unfolds with suspense as Kelly stumbles upon a secret computer lab disguised as a gift shop during their vacation. This discovery prompts Tom to investigate further, leading them to uncover a locked shipping container that holds crucial information about the terrorist group's plans.

To aid in their pursuit of the truth, CIA Special Agent Steve Spalding and bodyguards Sharon and Agatha join the couple. Together, they must unravel the mysteries surrounding the terrorist group and their intended attack. The book effectively portrays the rise of one nation against another, making it a gripping and intense read.

What sets this book apart is the realistic peculiarity the author brings to the plot. The relationships between the characters are amusing, adding depth to both conflicts and resolutions. The incorporation of educational elements, such as solar superflare and electromagnetic pulse, as well as vivid descriptions of coastal features like beaches and coral reefs, enhances the overall reading experience.

The action-packed plot and the author's expertise in military terminology create an entertaining atmosphere throughout the book. However, the romance-driven title might be misleading to some readers, as the story leans more towards the action genre. Additionally, the character of Rhee Su-Jin, the leader of the terrorist group, has been criticized for being timid and frightened, which could have been improved.

Taking all I’ve mentioned earlier into account, I would rate Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon 5 out of 5 stars. The book stands out with its impeccable editing, as not a single grammar or spelling error was found. This well-crafted writing elevates the reading experience and deserves commendation.

To improve the book, a clearer title that aligns with the action-driven plot would enhance the reader's expectations. Furthermore, developing the character of Rhee Su-Jin to be more formidable and menacing could elevate the overall tension and excitement in the story.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this book to lovers of action-packed novels. The well-edited narrative, thrilling plot, and captivating relationships between characters make it a worthwhile read for those seeking an adrenaline-filled experience in the world of military forces.

While the review highlights the action-packed nature of the book, it points out that the title, "E M P Honeymoon," might be somewhat misleading for readers expecting a romance-driven plot. This could potentially disappoint those seeking a different genre, so a title adjustment to better reflect the action theme might be beneficial.

The critique of Rhee Su-Jin's character being timid and frightened raises a valid point. To enhance the story's tension and excitement, it would be worthwhile for the author to develop this character into a more formidable and menacing antagonist, which could add depth to the conflict and make the plot even more gripping.
